Weihaw Wang, currently based in Tokyo, is a Taiwanese-born, British architect who has spent most of his professional career in the UK. After graduating from the Bartlett School of Architecture, he began his professional experience in London, expertise in wide range of works especially the parametric design and scripting. He is qualified and registered with The Architects Registration Board (ARB) and is a chartered member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).

Weihaw is also the co-founder of Sawara Architects.

活動・業務内容

Sawara Architects Ltdは、建築設計から企画、コンサルティング業務を中心に、台湾・日本・イギリスで活動している集団です。代表であるWei-Haw Wangは、RhinoScriptやGrasshopperを利用したパラメトリックデザインの設計を得意としており、イギリスのAA School of ArchitectureやLondon Metropolitan Universityで講師を務めた経験もあります。今後も、Sawaraは、日本を始めとするアジア各国にて、パラメトリックデザインの普及に努めていきます。
